Hello all, A busy month for us in the South Perthshire. Here’s a brief overview of what the team and I have been up to in June. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT We have continued our efforts to be a more visible presence on foot patrol in Crieff, Comrie and Methven through June.Vehicle patrols in the known hotspots for traffic issues and anti-social behaviour.Attended National Park meeting discussing issues around Loch Earn.Attended an event in James Square with community partners to plant flowers to brighten the place up.SCHOOL ENGAGEMENT Visits to Crieff Primary School and St Dominics discussing bullying and what the police do day to day. CRIME Carried out a joint day of action targeting youth offenders resulting in 3 youths being charged. Carried out a day of action targeting South Perthshire domestic perpetrators resulting in a male being arrested and kept for court.Targeted action toward a high tariff offender resulted in a report to the Procurator Fiscal for 12 charges.
